Plans To Reopen The Garden

The Japanese Garden in Cornwall provides an authentic Japanese
garden design in an idyllic Cornish setting. Built as a meditative garden it is the perfect space where one can calm the mind & let go of unwanted stress through contemplation & reflection.

The Japanese Garden in Cornwall has been closed to the public for 3 whole months during this surreal time and we are very much looking forward to being able to reopen.

I have had countless messages from people asking about a date for re-opening and it has been so heart-warming knowing just how many visitors are missing the garden.

Although we don’t have a fixed date for re-opening yet; we are busy getting things ready and we hope to be able to reopen the garden, nursery and shop at the beginning of August. We are taking every precaution for our staff and our visitors and we hope that everyone will be pleased with the actions we are taking to keep everyone safe.

In the mean time we launched our new Online Shop for mail-order deliveries last week so if you are missing our shop; you can head over to see what’s available for delivery!

We want to thank everyone for your patience and your heartfelt messages during this strange time; we know how needed the garden is for people at this time and we cant wait to reopen so people can benefit from the peace and tranquility again. Its been a challenging time for us here at the garden, as it has been for everyone; but we are getting there and throughout July we will be working hard to prepare to reopen.

The garden is blissfully unaware of all the drama going on in the world and has been continuing to grow in abundance. I spent a few minutes today feeding the fish and wondering around admiring the beautiful Japanese Maples and late-flowering azaleas 🌺

Please enjoy viewing the pictures of the garden that I captured earlier today:
