We are now closed for the 2023 season!

What a year!
Stuart and I (Natalie) cannot thank you all enough for your support this season. Its been a wild ride this year with some wonderful moments, such as our wedding day, and also some slightly more challenging ones too – like the cost of everything skyrocketing!

We decided at the end of 2022 that we would try our best to keep our garden entry fees at the same rate for the 2023 season. Which meant that if you were a Concession ticket price – you would be paying the same price that the entry fee had been for nearly 15 years!!!
We successfully stuck to our plan and kept the price the same for 2023, but with the cost of living going up so much we have had to put the entry prices up for 2024.

The new admission fees will be-
Adults: £6.00
Children: £3.00 (3 – 15 years)
Concessions: £5.00 (Seniors (60+), Students (16 +), Disabled, NHS Staff & Armed Forces)
Babies/in buggies free
Shop & plant areas are admission free.

This year we will be offering Season Tickets for £12 – which will enable one person to visit the Japanese Garden as often as they like during our opening dates (1st March – 15th November) & times (10am – 6pm, 7 days a week) for the remainder of the current season. Season Ticket is valid from the date purchased; until the 15th November of the same year. Season Tickets can be purchased at any time throughout the season and will be valid until the 15th November; so the earlier in the season you purchase; the more often you can take advantage of using your ticket. Excluding events. The Season Ticket can be purchased during a visit from the counter. One ticket can be purchased per person. Add a child to your ticket for £6. Please ask a member of staff & we will be happy to help you.

We know that many of you were so grateful for us keeping the garden entry fixed for 2023 (the same for 5 years) and we hope that the increase will be understood as we go into 2024. We always want the garden to be affordable for everyone, hence why we kept them fixed for this year (2023), but the living costs have really gone through the roof so it has now become essential to increase. Please see the new prices above.

After what has been a rollercoaster of a year again this year and our winter project about to start to refurbish the Koi pond (an epic undertaking) we are hopeful that next season will be peaceful, productive and beautiful – just like the garden itself.

Whether it was buying something in the shop or nursery, leaving a beautiful review online or just purchasing garden entry; you have supported us and enabled us to share the beauty of the Japanese garden for another season and we cannot thank you all enough.
