NOW CLOSED FOR 2025

We have now closed for the 2025 season.

The Japanese garden, the nursery and gift shop have now closed to the public for winter but we will be back open next year in March 2026.

What an incredible year it has been – we’ve had so many lovely visitors and the response to the garden has been wonderful with so many commenting on the work that’s been done over the last 2 years. The gardeners are so pleased to hear the positive feedback for all their hard work.

We cannot thank you all enough for your continued support of our little business. We love being able to share the garden and its very special to hear how much the garden touches so many of you.

Recently I was asked to do a talk about the history of the garden and I spent many hours pouring through old photo albums and loose photographs to collect images to tell the story of how the garden came to be. It has been an inspiring journey looking back at what the site looked like before my parents (Robert and Stella Hore) began their epic project to transform this overgrown wilderness into the Japanese Garden in Cornwall.

Stuart and I (Natalie) took over management of the garden at the end of 2015 and today marks 9 seasons that we have lovingly cared for the garden and welcomed you all to this special place. It is truly a labour of love and an honour to be continuing our families artistry.

Thank you again to everyone who visited us and supported us in 2025. We look forward to having a restful winter and we hope to see you all in 2026.
