OPENING THIS SATURDAY – 14TH MARCH 2026

Only a few days left to wait until we open for the 2026 season!

Our gates reopen to the public at 10am this Saturday (14th March 2026) just in time for Mothers day.

The garden is brimming with life and flowers are opening up every day now – especially when the warm sun decides to shine!

Spring is the season of possibilities and there is a feeling everywhere of potential and excitement for what is to come for the year.

Every little bud that is swelling now will soon be blooming with leaves and flowers and its a very special time of year.

Today my little visit to the garden was joyful as some of the pathways have been broken up and remade and fresh chipping have been laid and it looks so beautiful.

Its amazing the level of maintenance that goes in to the garden every year and this year the Tea-house roof and pathways definitely got some attention.

Today there were several stunning azaleas in blossom which added some fab colour t places in the garden but the large leaf rhododendron stole the show (as it always does) with its massive, pastel coloured blossoms and buds!

Last year this magnificent tree did not flower and we were worried that it was not happy but with some tender love and care it has bounced back beautifully to give us the most tremendous show this year.

We have many deliveries arriving this week, including a Bonsai delivery and lots of beautiful things to replenish our gift shop too. There will be more to come next week too.

We cannot wait to welcome you all back for 2026.
