The Japanese Garden has now closed to visitors until further notice to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
We have taken every precaution to keep our staff and visitors safe up to this point; however we feel that closing is the best way to encourage people to follow the governments advice of social distancing and hopefully this will ease the pressure on our NHS and the amazing staff who are working so hard to care for the infected.
We feel so sad to be closing and I know many of you will be disappointed with our decision; but we feel it is the right thing to do at this point to try to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
I would urge everyone to follow strict hygiene guidelines and wash your hands regularly with soap and water. Keep a safe distance of at least 2 meters away from other people and if you are displaying any symptoms; please stay home and isolate for 2 weeks.
Stuart and I are in the process of setting up an online shop which will provide some of our items via mail order so whilst we are closed to the public you will still be able to access a selection of products. I will of course inform you all when we get this up and running.
We will get through this. Please be safe everyone.
Natalie & Stuart
