This week in the garden we’ve had sunshine, warmth and some rain too.
The plants and trees are all in their summer colours now and the garden feels lively with summer energy. The Koi carp are swimming gracefully in the water as the temperatures are now warm for them, encouraging them to be active and dragonflies and damsel flies are gracing the pond with visits regularly too.
The summer holidays have seen lots of visitors so far and feedback has been wonderfully positive from people’s experiences of the garden.
With the hubbub of summer in Cornwall the garden is certainly a welcome relief to many with its peaceful atmosphere – even when we are busy with visitors the space still maintains its calming vibe.
My visit a couple of days ago was just that – a moment of relaxation in a busy week. The breeze was blowing through the trees and the sun was shining; making the beautiful maple leaves glow with many colours.
Summer has an energy of activity in the garden and the sunshine and warm temperatures definitely add to this feeling.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer so far. Lets hope August stays warm and sunny for us all.
