The Summer season has officially begun and the weather is finally getting the memo!
We have had some beautiful sunshine this week and just enough rain to water all the plants.
The staff here at The japanese Garden have been very busy as we have had many deliveries of exciting bits coming in over the last week or so and the shop is now brimming with interesting things. We also have our amazing Himalayan Salt candle holders back in stock and they are already flying out!
The garden is offering a variety of colours, smells and shapes now as Summer approaches and the japanese maples are reaching their seasonal colour peak.
Some of the late blooming Japanese Azaleas are now flowering and some of the other plants too.
A couple of trees have been pruned back to allow for slightly wider pathways and some have been clipped to reveal a hidden rocks cape underneath, which probably hasn’t been viewed for many years!
The response from people has been absolutely amazing and we have had a couple of people so overwhelmed by what they felt in the garden that they were moved to tears by the place which is truly beautiful.
