The sunshine graced us with its warmth for a few days but the rain has rolled back in!

Ive never known such a wet spring! Hopefully this means a super sunny and warm summer – fingers crossed.

Despite the rain the garden is flourishing as it always does in the month of May. So much colour and vibrancy to be seen as many of the azaleas, candelabra primulas and a few rhododendrons display their stunning array of colourful flowers.

The Japanese maples are now all in leaf and offering a wonderful array of colourful leaves in many shapes and sizes.

The rain is not what we want for the flower blossoms as they kind of melt them away quite quickly but the tree leaves are loving this weather and everything is glistening from the rainfall.

Today I popped out in the rain to capture a few photos of the garden and some of the Bonsai before the sunshine came out for a bit this afternoon. Please check out the photos below –
