The Garden In August

The Japanese Garden in Cornwall provides an authentic Japanese
garden design in an idyllic Cornish setting. Built as a meditative garden it is the perfect space where one can calm the mind & let go of unwanted stress through contemplation & reflection.

The garden is full of colour and vibrance at this time of year and there is a buzz of wonderful energy as plants are stretching out to lap up the sunshine.

It is a special time of year as we see lots more children coming to visit the garden with their families. The Koi are swimming gracefully, seemingly to entertain the kiddies and often the children come back from the visit and tell us they have never seen such huge fish!

Everything here is feeling energised somehow; the sunshine makes the place feel warm and comforting and its lovely to be able to sit everywhere when its dry.

On the rainy days, although the dry seats are a fewer, there is a feeling of total in capsulation as the water droplets hit thousands of leaves and make you feel as though you are in a secret garden all to yourself. The sound is wonderful and it helps me to focus my mind much quicker than on a sunny day in the garden.

Please enjoy the photos below from the garden this week:
