The Colours Of May

It is just unbelievable how colourful the garden is looking right now!

Everywhere you turn there is a treat for your eyes with the Azaleas flowering with their cream, pink and red blossoms and the Japanese Maples in their many, many varieties (over 100) all covered in new, vibrantly coloured leaves which are planted in abundance all through the garden. The canopy of Acers casts a pink/red glow as the sunlight shines through the leaves.

I took a walk yesterday and managed to get lots of photographs of the flowers and the trees as i made my way around the winding pathways. The sun was shining and there was just enough of a breeze to tussle the leaves. It was wonderful. I met several people enjoying their first visit and i had the pleasure of seeing a few familiar faces too.

We have had many new bits arrive in the shop this week; including a stunning large Rose Gold wind chime!
