What an incredible Easter holidays we’ve had so far – the sunshine has barely gone behind a cloud this week!
The warm temperatures and sunlight have given the garden an added boost and everything is opening up.
There are flowers and buds everywhere and the Japanese maples are unfurling the most spectacular coloured leaves.
The white cherry blossoms are now going past but the pink cherries are now looking sensational! Probably at their very best right now.
Its amazing how much changes in a week here – the plants are never exactly the same each year and sometimes the timing is different for their peak beauty.
Today I had a stroll through the garden and fed the Koi which were hungry and animated in the water.
The azaleas are looking beautiful now throughout the garden – with just a few holding back from blossoming – mainly the white varieties.
Today I shot so many photos of the pink cherry blossom, which looked like fluffy candy floss hanging from the branches – I narrowed my pictures down so as not to bore you all with too many pictures of the same thing – but it was hard! Lol
Absolutely in love with this time of year as the garden has a welcoming energy and everywhere you turn their is life striving forward.
Hope you are all having a wonderful easter holidays and have enjoyed this amazing sunshine – sadly the weather is due to turn tomorrow but the garden will be so glad to have some rain and the raindrops will add a sparkle to the garden.
