Spring Has Sprung

20th March 2025 and today feels like Spring has really arrived!

The sun is shining and the temperatures are rising. Its been a beautiful day and we’ve welcomed lots of visitors to the garden this week which has been wonderful. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive even with our work still ongoing in the garden and we have had deliveries coming out of our ears this week with more Bonsai, gifts, wind chimes and young trees arriving.

I visited the garden this afternoon in the warm sunshine and the garden was glowing.

Everywhere you look there are buds swelling and flowers beginning to bloom.

The magnolias are starting to impress with their stunning blossoms and there is already a couple of plum blossom trees flowering their hearts out.

The new koi have settled in brilliantly to the pond and the water is looking crystal clear which is so lovely to see.

There are many azaleas beginning to open some blossoms but many many more not yet in flower.

There are a few Japanese maples beginning to leaf up but most are still in bud.

Hope everyone gets a chance to visit during this time – when you can see the architecture of the garden (before everything fully leafs up).
