I can’t quite believe that June has already past and we are already in to July!

I apologise for my lack of updates on our Blog this year – I have been under the weather and so my visits to the garden have been sadly infrequent.

With the announcement due tomorrow tonight set to reveal how the final restrictions will be lifted; we are keen to know what the exact rules will be about social distancing, mask wearing and any other measures that may or may not still be needed.

We here at the garden have decided that our booking system will remain in place for the foreseeable months (during this season) as we feel that it has worked really well in keeping the numbers of people in the garden, and more importantly the shop, to a safe number at all times. So please keep using our booking system if you are planning a visit.

We will also be keeping our 2 meter distancing markers on the shop floor and we hope that visitors will wear face masks when they come in to the shop (unless exempt). We will still be providing hand sanitiser for customers to use in our shop and staff will continue to clean down surfaces and points of contact regularly.

It has been a surreal 15 months since the pandemic changed our lives and I am grateful to everyone who has enabled us to stay open and followed the guidance so well. It has been heartwarming to meet so many lovely people and hear the beautiful responses to the garden.

Please check out my photos from my last visit to the garden (shot at the end of June) –
