Now Closed For Winter

We have now closed for the 2021 season.

 

Its been a challenging year but we cannot thank you all enough for your support, kindness and understanding during this season.

Its been another strange year with many pandemic related obstacles but we still standing and we look forward to next season when things (hopefully) settle down to a bit more normality.

 

The team have been busy with refurbishments now we have closed to the public and the garden is already covered in fallen leaves 🍂 😊

Its amazing how in 2 days, without constant attention, nature takes back ownership of the garden at autumn and the landscape is so drastically different!

Its wonderful to see many of the Japanese maples showing off their autumn colours and others now dropping their colourful leaves 🍁 and past their best (having peaked just before we closed luckily). Some are still a ways off reaching their peak colour – so I will keep photographing when I get a chance.

 

I fed the Koi whilst I visited today – although they often aren’t coming out to feed now as the temperatures are dropping. Many of the biggest fish came out to say hello and have some food – even some of the new additions to the pond!
