Now Closed For Winter

 

Thank you everyone that’s a wrap from us for 2022!

 

It has been another challenging year with the hangover from Covid-19 still effecting our business. Luckily no more lockdowns and restrictions but instead issues with suppliers stock availability and prices going up for everything!

We have done our best to absorb as much of these costs as we can afford to – but sadly prices for Bonsai and other stock has risen.

Garden entry will not rise for 2023 – we are keeping the entry fee the same which will hopefully allow people to visit. We want everyone to be able to afford to come and spend time in the garden as its a place of calm and positivity – something which everyone can benefit from.

 

2022 has also been the year that we welcomed our new baby – which has made for a wonderful and also challenging season!

Being a full time mum whilst running the garden has been a bit of a juggling act (apologies for any delayed email replies!) . But I feel like I’m doing the life-work balance a bit better now and looking forward to some time off over the winter to just spend time with our family.

Stuart and I love what we do and feel passionate about the garden which is enjoyed by so many each year. The feedback that we receive from visitors is so overwhelmingly positive and it means the absolute world to us and to our small team of incredible staff.

We are only a small team here at the garden but everyone works so hard to make the experience for visitors positive and enjoyable. I cannot thank our staff enough for their hard work and dedication during 2022.
