Now Closed for Winter – Reopens 1st March 2019
Well November has arrived and we have closed our doors until next season – but I couldn’t help sharing some pictures from my walk around the garden yesterday. The colours are absolutely mind blowing! So so vivid!
Yesterday was a cloudy, rainy day and the colours still jumped out with such vibrancy. I shot many pictures of the Japanese maples leaves especially as there are so many different varieties in the garden (over 100 different ones) and every one is doing something spectacular.
I think our last day open this year (31st October) showed off some stunning colours, however the colours have now peaked and some are dropping their leaves at a fast rate now – so it won’t be long until the trees are bare for the winter.
The photos have had no saturation increases on the colours – they are as bright and vivid as they were shot – even though the colours look surreal!
Please enjoy looking at the pictures below – and we hope to see you all next year!
