We have had a delivery of beautiful new Bonsai this week including some species that we haven’t been able to stock for the last 18 months; the Japanese Holly!
This wonderful variety boasts small, glossy, green, compact foliage making it perfect for Bonsai. It is an evergreen and offers beautiful little cream flowers for summer and can handle a frost as well as enjoying living indoors all year. We managed to get this variety in several sizes including a large size – they are stunning!
We also had a selection of outdoor Japanese maple Bonsai delivered – including the stunning red/pink Acer palmatum deshojo in 2 sizes.
There have been many other varieties arrive too –
- A couple of new sizes of Chinese elm – indoor or outdoor happy
- Variegated serissa – tree of a thousand stars – indoor only
- Two new sizes of shaped Podocarpus (Buddhist pine) – indoor or outdoor (frost free)
- Three sizes of Chinese Azalea – indoor and outdoor happy
- Outdoor varieties include – Redwoods, Pseudo larix, Ginko, Red acers
We are still trying to get some Japanese imported Bonsai but so far this has not been possible and what has been available has been so expensive its been unbelievable, so we will keep trying but no luck yet!
