May is whizzing by and we are already past the middle of the month.

The garden is flourishing with all this beautiful warm weather and flowers are still blooming all over the place. The purple irises are now looking their best and many of the azaleas are now looking stunning – particularly the pink ones I noticed.

The japanese maples are looking superb with their foliage now filling spaces with colour and the garden feels full of life. The trees and flowers are making the garden look so beautiful and even with some flowers now going past their best – others are now peaking for beauty so there is still so many blossoms to be be seen.

These pictures were shot today when I took a stroll around the garden – Ive been looking at all our Bamboo growing tin the garden and have just created a BAMBOO page for those of you that are interested in what species we are growing here. Check it out!
