The garden blooms!
May is such a vibrant, colourful time of the season, it amazes me very year the overwhelming feeling of joy and abundance of life everywhere.
Weather has been very diverse giving us beautiful sunshine one minute followed by rain and grey clouds the next. The garden is enjoying the mixture.
My walk in the garden today has had 2 clear show stoppers – the azaleas and the Japanese maples. Both are now stealing the show with colours and variety.
The variety of mature azaleas flower at different times during spring and some are now past their best whilst others are just getting going.
The Japanese maples are now in full leaf and spring colour pallet. So many colours and leaf shapes and with over 100 specimens growing all around the garden they cannot be missed for how divine they are.
