May Has Arrived And The Garden Is Blooming

May is here and with it the azaleas!

The garden is always so colourful in this month with the flowers opening their blooms in abundance and the Japanese maples showing off their stunningly vivid spring colours too.

The azaleas take centre stage now with so many varieties and colours everywhere you look. We also have the lilies and the candelabra primulas flowering now which is always a treat.

The maples are looking stunning now too with those intense spring tones covering the garden.

Its been a couple of weeks since my last visit and the garden looks transformed!

It always amazes me how much change happens in such a short space of time in the garden.

The plants are all soaking up the sunshine we’ve had recently and have been growing and opening up.

The Koi carp have also been enjoying the warmer temperatures and are much more active now which is always a joy to see.
