We can’t quite believe we are here at the end of our season for 2019. Tomorrow is our last day open for the season (31st October 2019)!
Today I wrapped up in a big coat and walked down to the garden for the last time (before we close). I have been vigilantly documenting the Japanese Maples this month and although I was worried that they wouldn’t peak for colour before we closed; I was thrilled to find that for many of the maples their colours are looking amazing! Reds, yellows and oranges are now displaying vivid shades around the garden. There are still a few that haven’t yet peaked, but I promise to photograph them when they do during November 😉
As someone who loves autumn and awaits the colours each year, I am so pleased that the colours are looking so vibrant for all the visitors who love this time of year as much as I do.
Myself (Natalie) and Stuart would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for supporting us this season, we have loved meeting so many new faces and seeing so many familiar ones who always make us smile when they visit. Our garden requires meticulous maintenance and attention, which creates its own challenges for us, but the response we get from visitors makes the hard work so worthwhile. It really has meant the world to us to hear how people feel about the garden and its been so encouraging to have such positive feedback. This is our 4th season since Stella and Robert (my parents) retired and Stuart and I took over management of the garden and we cant quite believe how fast the time has gone.
We hope you will all have a magical Christmas whilst we are closed and we look forward to seeing you all again next season for 2020! (Opening on the 1st March 2020)
