As we approach the end of September for 2026 the cooler temperatures are rolling in and the garden is beginning to show the seasonal changes that we look forward to every year.
Autumn is a time of year when everything begins to transition – it is the season of change.
As leaves change colour and begin falling the atmosphere in Cornwall shifts and it always makes me feel nostalgic and reflective.
It has certainly been a hell of a year with heatwaves coming again and again – and we were lucky enough to keep our garden alive!
Other jobs were put on hold just to maintain our wonderful plants and Bonsai – but we now have the chance to catch up a bit (hopefully).
As i walked the garden during my visit i felt that beautiful feeling of change all around me – and this is the magic of the autumn season.
It wont be long now until the japanese maples start to turn their most vivid colours and the garden is transformed with colour.
I cant wait!
