Happy Halloween 2025

Happy Halloween Everyone!

We can’t believe that its that time of year again! Where has the time gone this year!? October 31st is just around the corner and the garden is literally glowing with autumn colours.

Anyone who loves Japanese maples will not be disappointed with the autumnal display in the garden – everywhere you look your eye is caught by some vivid tone of yellow, red or orange.

The Osakazuki maple by the koi pond is now a sensational fiery red. I couldn’t stop photographing it.

The waterfall acer that flows on to the decking area is turning vivid shades of purple, magenta and red – few more days and it will be completely at its peak.

There are so many incredible colours and the garden feels exciting and vibrant as the season comes to an end. Its like a firework display – saving those huge, exciting blasts for the big finale.

Only a couple of weeks left to visit for this season.

There are still a few of the late changing maples yet to turn but these tend to transform after many of the others have past their best so if you are thinking of visiting us – please make sure you pop in during the next 2 weeks before we close for the 2025 season.

Last open day is 15th November this year. We are open daily – 7 days a week – 10am until 5pm (last garden entry 4pm).
