The Mount fungi cherry is now in full bloom!
This magnificent variety has the classic ‘fluffy white cloud’ blossoms that are breathtaking when they are out in full!
They also don’t last long so if you are wanting to visit to see them come quick!
Hopefully the weather stays dry and warm and the blooms will last a bit longer 🤞
The pink cherry blossom is not yet blooming – these always make us wait a bit longer than the mount fungi variety.
The garden is literally brimming with new life with flowers opening up all over the place. The most impressive of which (aside from the cherry blossom) is the large leave Rhododendron by the small waterfall across the pond – they are superb right now!
The Japanese maples are also opening up and some are leafing up now although its going to be a while still for them all to get to full spring splendour but its wonderful to see everything awakening from the winter sleep.
The weather has been glorious this week and mothers day today has been joyous with warm weather all day and radiant sunshine for everyone to enjoy.
