The beautiful Autumn season is upon us and the garden is embracing the time of year fully!
The leaves are falling with every gust of wind and the ones still clinging to their branches are turning the most stunning colours.
Today i enjoyed a quick walk around the garden with my camera to try to capture some of the colours now being shown off. The Japanese Maples are particularly stunning at this time of year, as their incredible reds, purples and oranges are now becoming vibrant for autumn.
The English Oaks are dropping lots and lots of acorns in various places throughout the garden and a recent visit from the playgroup children has seen lots of collected acorns from our budding horticulturists!
The weather has been rainy and then sunny, on and off for days now, giving the garden a vibrant shine from the showers and the sun is lighting up the leaves and making them glow; its really beautiful to see whether its pouring with rain or bathed in golden October light.
This is our last month open for the 2017 season! So if you are planning a visit there are just 23 more days to come and see us! (Last day open 31st October 2017 – until march 1st 2018)
Please enjoy looking at the pictures of the garden shot today –
