October is giving us all the autumn feels here at the garden as the light has become so golden that when that sun shines everything is glowing.
Autumn is such a transformative time for the garden as the Japanese maples completely steal the show as they change colour dramatically.
Temperatures are creeping lower this week as the clear skies have meant for very chilly nights and this has given the garden plants a nudge towards the colour transformation.
Several of the maples are now beginning to change colour and several are still holding their summer shades – I suspect another couple of weeks will give us the most vibrant visits for colour, but watch this space as I will keep you all updated with lots of photos on our Blog and socials.
