Finally we are seeing the beautiful colours of autumn start to reveal themselves as the greens dissipate and the yellows, oranges and reds take over the colour palette of the garden landscape.
I spent this morning wandering through the little pathways and admiring the light coming through the trees. The atmosphere is delicate and serene and the leaves are falling with every gentle breeze.
I love autumn and the colours and feeling that this season brings and the garden is finally committing to the time of year. The weather has been so mild as we have entered the season that the garden did not react as quickly as it often does and held it’s vibrant colours of summer longer than it usually does. Now though the greens are being traded in for yellows and leaves litter the ground as they fall from the trees.
We are now only a couple of weeks away from the end of our open season! So if you are planning a visit make sure you pop in before the end of October as our last day open (for this year) will be October 31st!
