April Splendour

Hello Springtime!

Finally we are seeing the beautiful sunshine and warmer weather and the garden is loving it!

The Pink Cherry Blossoms are now looking stunning; like fluffy, pink candy floss hanging on the branches. I love the colour of the petals especially with a beautiful blue sky behind them.

Not only are we seeing the cherry blossoms in flower but now the pink and purple azaleas are blooming their hearts out too. There are now bright colours punctuating the landscape in the garden, which is one of the best features of springtime! The flowers are so beautiful and delicate and the garden is now brimming with anticipation.

The Japanese Maples are now in leaf and they are breathtaking! The colours of the fresh new leaves are just unbelievable (they look like I’ve Photoshopped them but I haven’t touched the saturation at all – the colours are really that bright!). The trees are now glowing as the light is shining through the leaves.
