Check out a video I shot on my phone of the garden a few days ago;
Another lockdown and more stress and uncertainty for everyone sadly.
We here at the Japanese Garden are currently using this time to get our refurbishments done and get some of the loud, structural work underway whilst there are no visitors in the garden.
We have added a couple more Bonsai to our mail-order SHOP
In slightly larger sizes; Chinese elm and Podocarpus.
I hope everyone reading this is staying safe and following the government guidelines for lockdown.
The garden has been blasted with high winds and many of our beautiful autumn leaves have now fallen; leaving just a selection of acers still displaying their vivid colours.
The garden was originally built as a winter garden; when all the deciduous trees have dropped their foliage and branches and hidden shapes suddenly appear.
Please stay safe everyone, we will get through this lockdown, just as we did in spring this year!
Here are a few pics of the new trees available via delivery from our online Shop –
